- China Clay: High-quality china clay, known for its whitening properties, is found in the Darjeeling district and is used in ceramics.
- Fire Clay: Used for refractory bricks and pottery, occurs alongside coal seams in Birbhum, Bankura, and Purulia.
- Limestone: Essential for cement and steel production, is prevalent in Purulia, Bankura, and Birbhum.
