Rajasthan Public Service Commission
- Parallel to the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) at the Centre, the State has a State Public Service Commission (SPSC).
- Articles 315 to 323 in Part XIV of the Constitution deals with the composition, appointment and removal of members and power, functions and independence of a SPSC.
- In Rajasthan, the SPSC is called the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC).
- In the year 1923, the Lee Commission recommended the establishment of a Union Public Service Commission in India, but this commission did not consider the establishment of Public Service Commissions in the provinces.
