Software Technology Parks of India
- Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has set up 65 STPI centres across the country based on proposals from State Governments.
- The Government of India has approved an additional 20 new STPI centres.
- Under MeitY’s Electronics Manufacturing Clusters (EMC) Scheme, 19 Greenfield Electronics Manufacturing Clusters (EMCs) and 3 Common Facility Centres (CFCs) were approved in 15 States across the country.
- To further strengthen infrastructure and create a robust electronics manufacturing ecosystem, MeitY introduced the Modified Electronics Manufacturing Clusters (EMC 2.0) Scheme on 1st April ....
