Lithium Batteries in Electric Mobility
- The Government of India established Khanij Bidesh India Limited (KABIL), a joint venture by National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL), and Mineral Exploration & Consultancy Limited (MECL), to acquire critical overseas mineral assets, including Lithium and Cobalt.
- KABIL signed an Exploration and Development Agreement with CAMYEN in Argentina to explore and mine five lithium blocks.
