- Ministry of Education has prepared guidelines for regulating coaching centres. These guidelines:
- Define coaching centres and specify conditions and documents for registration.
- Address issues related to fees and outline infrastructure prerequisites.
- Establish a code of conduct, emphasizing mental well-being and support of counsellors.
- Stipulate continuous monitoring, complaint mechanism, and penalties.
- Outline process for registration cancellation and appeals.
- National Education Policy 2020 (NEP 2020) aims to ensure no child loses opportunity to learn due to birth circumstances.
- NEP 2020 addresses concerns of Socio-Economically Disadvantaged Groups (SEDGs), aiming to bridge social category gaps in school education.
