Impacts
- Groundwater Pollution: The leakage of garbage and plastic puts the world's water in grave peril. Groundwater and reservoirs can leak environmental contaminants, causing the water to become poisoned.
- It Disrupts the Food Chain: The majority of the organisms that make up the food chain consume plastic garbage. Plankton, the smallest organism in the planet, are being harmed by plastic pollution as a result. Plastics become eaten and poisoned when these species, who are producers, feed on them, which creates issues for the higher animals, who are consumers and rely on them for sustenance.
