Nehru Report
- On India’s opposition to Simon Commission, Lord Birkenhead challenged Indian politicians to produce an agreed Constitution was accepted by various political sections, and thus prospects for Indian unity seemed bright at that point of time.
- As a result, the All Party Conference at Bombay in 1928 appointed a committee with Moti Lal Nehru as its chairman to consider and determine the principle of the constitution for India. The committee included Tej Bahadur Sapru, Subhas Chandra Bose, M.S. Aney, Mangal Singh, Ali Imam, Shuaib Qureshi, and G.R. Pradhan as its members.
