Indian Green Building Council
Recently, Vijayawada Railway Station was awarded the ‘Green Railway Station’ certification with the highest rating of Platinum by the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC).
- Established in 2001, the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) operates under the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and stands as India's premier certification body.
- Providing a range of services, including developing new green building rating programs, certification services, and training, IGBC also hosts the annual Green Building Congress, its flagship event on sustainable construction.
