Answer: After the withdrawal of the United States troops, Taliban captured Afghanistan again by throwing the democratically elected Afghan government.

India has had economic and security ties with previous democratically elected government. For instance, with respect to economic relation, India has invested more the 3 billion dollar in approximately 400 infrastructure projects like Salma Dam, telecom project, electricity transmission lines, etc. Therefore, the takeover by Taliban can adversely impact economic relation.
