MSME Sustainable (ZED) Certification Scheme
On 28th April, 2022, the Central government launched the MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) Sustainable (ZED) Certification Scheme.
- The Scheme is the revamped version of earlier Zero Defect, Zero Effect (ZED) scheme for Udyam-registered MSMEs.
About the Scheme
- Certification: MSME Sustainable (ZED) Certification can be attained in three levels after registering and taking the ZED Pledge:
- Certification Level 1: BRONZE (5 Parameters)
- Certification Level 2: SILVER (14 Parameters)
- Certification Level 3: GOLD (20 Parameters)
- Subsidies: Under the Scheme, MSMEs will get subsidy as per the following structure, on the cost of ZED certification:
- Micro Enterprises: 80%
- Small Enterprises: 60%
- Medium Enterprises: 50%
