National Panchayati Raj Day
National Panchayati Raj Day is the national celebration that commemorates the Panchayati Raj Systems in India.
- It is celebrated every year on the 24th of April.
- The day marks the enactment of the 73rd amendment of the Constitution which came into force with effect from 24th April, 1993.
- The first National Panchayati Raj Day was celebrated in 2010.
