Panchayat Se Parliament 2.0: Empowering Women Leaders
On 6th January 2025, the Panchayat Se Parliament 2.0 programme was inaugurated by the Lok Sabha Speaker in the Central Hall of Parliament.
Panchayat Se Parliament 2.0 Programme
- Objective: To empower women leaders by deepening their understanding of constitutional provisions, parliamentary procedures, and governance. To foster effective leadership that can transition from Panchayat to Parliament.
- Organized By: National Commission for Women (NCW), in collaboration with the Lok Sabha Secretariat and the Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
- Participants: 502 women leaders from 22 states and Union Territories, primarily from tribal communities.
- Special Commemoration: Organized in honour of the 150th birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, ....
