Impact Assessment Studies on Smart Cities Mission
On 27th December 2024, the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIM B) released the findings of two studies under the SAAR – Sameeksha Series of the Smart Cities Mission (SCM), focusing on improvements in education and women’s safety.

- Improvement in Indian Smart Cities towards Quality of Education through Smart Classrooms
- 41 cities have developed Digital Libraries with a total of 7,809 seating capacity.
- Study highlights significant impact of Digital Libraries in cities like Raipur and Tumakuru.
