Digital Literacy: As per estimates, 38% of households in India are digitally literate.
- In urban areas, digital literacy is relatively higher at 61% relative to just 25% in rural areas.
Types of e-Governance
- Government to Citizen (G2C): It includes services like ration card, passport, education, etc.
- Citizen to Government (C2G): It includes services like interaction of citizens with government in the form of feedback, grievance redressal, etc.
- Government to Government (G2G): It includes interaction between governments for the purpose of implementation of schemes, co-ordination, sharing information, etc.
- Government to business (G2B): It includes services like interactions of government with businesses registration of business, etc.
