  • Extreme Weather Events: Extreme weather occurrences like heatwaves, cyclones, droughts, and floods are on the rise. As a result, agriculture's productivity is impacted indirectly.
  • Financial Losses: Globally, economic losses from natural disasters are increasing, and the agriculture sector is particularly susceptible to them.
