An Interdisciplinary Perspective On With Current Affairs Inputs (Earthquakes)
For centuries earthquakes were regarded as an expression of fury of nature. With the development of science this myth was broken and a new branch of Earth Sciences emerged which was called Seismology. The use of scientific devices to monitor and predict earthquakes have helped in minimizing the damage caused by earthquakes.

Recently, the government has announced that India is going to have 35 more earthquake observatories by the end of the 2021 and aims to add 100 more earthquake observatories by 2026.
