Bhil Movement or Bhagat Movement
- Surji Bhagat started a movement for the social reform of tribals in southern Rajasthan, which is called Bhagat Movement.
- The real father of Bhagat Movement was Govind Giri.
- Govind Giri was a tribal disciple of Dayanand Saraswati.
- Govind Giri was born in 1858 in a Banjara's house in Bansia village of Dungarpur district of Rajasthan.
- To give a new direction to the Bhagat movement, Govind Giri established Samp Sabha in 1883 in Sirohi district of Rajasthan.
