India, Pakistan Renew Kartarpur Corridor Agreement
On 22nd October 2024, Ministry of External Affairs informed that India and Pakistan have agreed to extend the validity of the agreement on Sri Kartarpur Sahib Corridor for another five years to ensure uninterrupted access for Indian pilgrims to the holy Gurdwara in Pakistan.

- As part of this extension, India has once again appealed to Pakistan to remove the $20 service charge imposed on each pilgrim visiting the Gurdwara.
- The Sri Kartarpur Sahib Corridor was established to facilitate easy access for pilgrims to Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur, fulfilling a long-standing demand for such access.
