46th Session of the World Heritage Committee Meeting
For the first time, India hosted the World Heritage Committee Meeting (46th session) from 21st to 31st July, 2024.
- The session, held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, marked a milestone in India's longstanding association with the World Heritage Convention, which began in 1977.
Aim
- The session aimed to strengthen global efforts in heritage conservation and foster international collaboration in preserving cultural and historical treasures.
