  • Public Speech: Judges should use caution while speaking publicly so that they don't breach their professional boundaries. Judges cannot use language carelessly and must constantly be conscious of their place in society.
  • Public Trust: A judge must respect and uphold the authority of his position. Since it is a public institution, he should make an effort to depart the position with more respect and trust from the public than when he assumed it. When all, judges are merely the momentary occupants of a position that predated us and will continue to exist after we depart.
