Constitutional Provisions
- Article 323A deals with Administrative Tribunals.
- Article 323B deals with Tribunals for other matters.
- Article 262 provides a role for the Central government in adjudicating conflicts surrounding inter-state rivers that arise among the state/regional governments.
Legal Provisions
- The Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985 provides for three types of tribunals:
- The Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT)
- The State Administrative Tribunal (SAT)
- The Joint Administrative Tribunal (JAT)
