Child Abuse
Child abuse could be physical or sexual. Physical abuse is the inflicting of physical injury upon a child whereas sexual abuse is inappropriate sexual behaviour with a child.
Other forms of child abuse includes emotional abuse i.e., verbal abuse, mental abuse, and psychological maltreatment; and neglect i.e., the failure to provide for the child’s basic needs.
Constitutional Provisions
