Under representation of Women in Judiciary
- Attorney General of India recently stressed on the need to improve the representation of women in the judiciary.
- The apathy in dealing with women-specific crimes in absence of women adjudicator was highlighted recently when Madhya Pradesh High Court granted bail to a man accused of sexual harassment on the condition that he will request the complainant to tie a 'rakhi' on him.
