Good Governance Index
- On 25th December 2019, Minister of State for Public Grievances and Pensions launched the Good Governance Index (GGI) on the occasion of Good Governance Day which is observed on the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
About Good Governance Index
- It is a uniform tool to assess the status of governance and the impact of various interventions by state governments and Union Territories.
- The index is launched by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions) and the Centre for Good Governance.
