Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojana
On 31st March, 2022, Prime Minister virtually interacted with a beneficiary of the Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojana hailing from Mehsana in Gujarat and appreciated him for choosing to be a “job creator” instead of becoming a “job seeker”.
About PM MUDRA Yojana
- In April 2015, the government introduced the Pradhan Mantri Micro Units Development and Refinance Agency (MUDRA) Yojana to provide loans of up to Rs. 10 lakh (US$ 13.54 thousand) to non-corporate, non-farm small/micro enterprises.
