Principle of Natural Justice
The principle of natural justice represents a fundamental legal concept centered on fairness, impartiality, and equity in legal proceedings. It embodies the idea that individuals involved in a legal matter should be treated fairly and justly.
Two Principles of Natural Justice
- ‘Nemo judex in causa sua’ means no one should be made a judge in his own cause, and the rule against bias.
- ‘Audi alteram partem’ means to hear the other party, or no one should be condemned unheard.
