Draft Digital Personal Data Protection Bill 2022
On 18th November, 2022, the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY) issued the draft Digital Personal Data Protection Bill, 2022 (DPDB). It seeks to replace the earlier Personal Data Protection Bill (PDP Bill) introduced back in 2019 and withdrawn in August 2022.
