  • Spirituality: It means realization of the self and is opposed to materialism and worldliness. In Vedas mentioned as Moksha or salvation
  • Simplicity: Saints were embodiments of simplicity like Buddha, Mahaveera, Kabir and Guru Nanak. Personalities with internal qualities – sacrifice, honesty, morality, co-operation, tolerance, etc. They endorsed simple living and high thinking philosophy.
  • Pursuit of Truth: Chief goal of life is to sacrifice everything for the sake of truth. Truth alone triumphs – main slogan of our culture. Gandhiji’s truth and non-violence is the best example.
  • Dignity of Labour: Great saints such as Saint Kabir, Saint Namdev, Guru Ravi ....
