About Aspiration District Programme (ADP)
- ADP was launched by the Government of India in January 2018 to accelerate improvement in the socio-economic indicators of the most underdeveloped districts of the country.
- Currently, the programme is being implemented in 112 of India’s 739 districts including 35 Left Wing Extremism (LWE) affected regions spread across the country.
- ADP is based on 49 indicators from the 5 identified thematic areas, which focuses closely on improving people’s Health & Nutrition, Education, Agriculture & Water Resources, Financial ....
