Hanooman
- The BharatGPT group, led by IIT Bombay and seven other Indian engineering institutes, announced the upcoming launch of its first ChatGPT-like service named 'Hanooman' next month.
- Hanooman comprises a series of large language models (LLMs) capable of responding in 11 Indian languages initially, with plans to expand to over 20 languages, covering fields like healthcare, governance, financial services, and education.
- Unlike traditional chatbots, Hanooman is a multimodal AI tool capable of generating text, speech, videos, and more in multiple Indian languages, with one of its customized versions, VizzhyGPT, tailored for healthcare using extensive medical data.
