Avalokiteshwara Padmapani
Recently, one-thousand-year old idol of Avalokiteshvara Padmapani, stolen earlier from a temple in Bihar's Gaya, had been returned to India from Italy.
- This statue of Avalokiteshwara Padmapani made of stone dates back to the 8th-12th century. In the idol, Lord Buddha, is standing with a lotus in his left hand.
- It is worth mentioning that Lord Buddha is the only one who is called Avalokiteshwara Padmapani.
