- U.S.-based not-for-profit entity Freedom House recently released a report titled, ‘Freedom on the Net 2021: The Global Drive to Control Big Tech’.
- The report determines the level of internet freedom by examining three broad categories: obstacles to access; limits on content; and violations of user rights.
- According to the report, Internet freedom has declined for the 11th year in a row worldwide.
