Government signs Ceasefire Agreement with NSCN (K) Niki Group
On 8th September, 2021, the Central Government signed “The Ceasefire Agreement and Agreed Ceasefire Ground Rules” with National Socialist Council of Nagaland (K) Niki group for a period of one year.
- The government has already signed a “framework agreement” with NSCN (IM) and ceasefire agreements with other Naga groups namely, NSCN (NK), NSCN (R) and NSCN (K) - Khango.
- As per the agreement, the ceasefire will be applicable for a period of one year with effect from September 8 till September 7 in 2022.
