Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana to get Programme Management Unit

The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (HUA) is planning to set up a dedicated unit to monitor the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) under the flagship Housing for All by 2022 scheme.

Provisions

  • The Programme Management Unit (PMU) will provide focused support for the PMAY (U).
  • It will efficiently and effectively manage, coordinate and monitor the implementation of PMAY (U) by providing pragmatic support to the HUA Ministry by April 2020 and will operate till 2022.
  • Participating firms to bid for PMU should have the average annual financial turnover not be less than Rs 9 ....
