Parakram Diwas to Commemorate Birth Anniversary of Subhas Chandra Bose
- Government celebrated the 125th birth anniversary of Subhas Chandra Bose, popularly known as Netaji, as first Parakram Diwas on 23rd January 2021, in Kolkata.
- Henceforth, the Government will celebrate his birthday every year as 'Parakram Diwas' to inspire people of the country, especially the youth, to act with fortitude in the face of adversity as Netaji did.

- Subhas Chandra Bose was born on January 23, 1897, in Cuttack in Odisha to Janakinath Bose and Prabhavati Dutt.
