Archaeologists have discovered the world's oldest known cave painting in Indonesia.

- A life-sized painting of a wild pig that was made at least 45,500 years ago was discovered in the limestone cave of Leang Tedongnge in the Sulawesi island of Indonesia.
- Measuring 136 by 54 centimetres, the painting was made using red ochre pigment and depicts a Sulawesi warty pig, endemic to the island, with a short crest of upright hairs and a pair of horn-like facial warts in front of the eyes, who is likely observing a social interaction or fight between two other warty pigs.
