Understanding Two Different Verdicts on the 2G Scam
Nearly six years after 122-2G licenses were cancelled by the Supreme Court, a special CBI court on 21 December, 2017 acquitted former telecom minister A Raja, DMK supremo Karunanidhi’s daughter Kanimozhi and other accused of all charges in the 2G spectrum allocation cases.
This article explains two different verdicts on the same scam, loopholes of the CBI verdict as well as it discusses different types of corruption prevailing in India and the laws that are supposed to tackle these types of corruption.
