US Ends Waiver Granted On Iran Oil
- On 22ndApril, 2019 US President decided to end sanctions waiver granted to India and seven other countries which import Iranian oil. The waivers would end on 2nd May 2019.
- US wants to cripple the Iranian economy by squeezing its sources of revenue in order to force the country into halting its discreet nuclear development programme and its support for Islamist terror groups.

- The US pulled out of the Iran nuclear deal i.e. the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) in May 2018, as according to the US, the deal lacked enough mechanisms for inspections and verification of Iranian ....
