Boost to Unnat Bharat Abhiyan

  • On 3rd May, 2019, Ministry of Electronics & IT and Common Services Centre (CSC) partnered with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur to upscaleUnnat Bharat Abhiyan’.
  • Under this, IIT-Kanpur has brought together 15 leading higher education institutions from Uttar Pradesh.IIT Kanpur has adopted five villages -Hridayapur, Baikanthpur, Ishwariganj, Pratappur Hari and Saxupurva - situated on the outskirts of Kanpur for its overall development.

Unnat Bharat Abhiyan(UBA)

  • Launched in 2014, it aims to link higher education institutions with set of at least five villages, so that they can contribute to economic and social betterment of these village communities using their knowledge ....
