Rise in Review Petitions at Supreme Court
Recently, there is a visible increase in the number of review petitions seeking review of Supreme Court’s landmark verdicts like Babri Masjid-Ram Janmabhoomi, telecom adjusted gross revenue, Rafael, Sabarimala, etc.

- As per the Constitution of India, SC acts as a court of record whose judgments, proceedings and acts are recorded for perpetual memory and testimony in future cases. These are also recognised as legal precedents and legal references.
