NSO Survey Debunks Swachh Bharat Claims
The National Statistical Office (NSO) survey ‘Drinking Water, Sanitation, Hygiene and Housing Condition in India’ on sanitation released on 23rd November deflated the claims of an open defecation-free (ODF) India made by the Centre’s flagship Swachh Bharat Scheme. On October 2, 2019, Prime Minister had declared the whole country ODF.
