Subsidy to Boost Rice Exports
As a 13 per cent increase in minimum support price (MSP) for paddy slows down India’s rice exports in the current financial year, the Centre has announced incentive to boost the exports of the cereal.
Subsidising the Non-Basmati Rice Exports
- The non-basmati rice exports will get a 5 per cent subsidy under the Merchandise Exports from India Scheme (MEIS) from November 26, 2018 till March 25, 2019.
