India’s Longest Rail-Road Bridge, Bogibeel Inaugurated
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Bogibeel Bridge, India’s longest rail-road bridge, connecting the north and south banks of the Brahmaputra, falling in the eastern part of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh, on December 25, 2018.
Important facts
- The Prime Minister flagged off an Intercity Express between Tinsukia in Assam and Naharlagun in Arunachal Pradesh. The train will run five days a week.
