Indian Telegraph Right of Way (Amendment) Rules 2021
On 21st October, 2021, the government amended the Indian Telegraph Right of Way Rules (RoW) by defining a framework for laying overhead optical fibre cable (OFC), a move which can help create infrastructure necessary for the roll out of 5G technology in the country.
