7 Integrated Textile Parks to come up under PM MITRA Scheme
On 6th October, 2021, the Union Cabinet approved PM MITRA (Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel) parks scheme for the textile sector to set up seven integrated textile parks in the country.
It aims to establish seven major 'holistic integrated textile processing regions' across the country, which would integrate the currently scattered value chain of textile products.
