India-Australia: Comprehensive Strategic Partnership
- India and Australia have elevated the bilateral Strategic Partnership concluded in 2009 to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP) at the first virtual summit between Indian PM and his Australian counterpart. The summit was initially scheduled to take place in January but got cancelled due to the bushfire crisis in Australia. During the virtual summit two countries have signed nine agreements, including an important Mutual Logistics Support Agreement (MLSA) that will allow the navies to cooperate closely.
