Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana

On 11th June, 2020, the Government allocated Rs 4,000 crores under Per Drop More Crop component of Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana for the year 2020-21.This allotment has been granted by the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare.

  • For the current year, the annual allotment has already been done and conveyed to the State Governments and the beneficiaries to be covered under the programme will be identified by respective states.
  • A Micro Irrigation Fund corpus has been created with NABARD, with the objective to facilitate the states in mobilizing the resources for expanding coverage of Micro Irrigation.
