As per Indian officials, at least 20 Indian soldiers were killed in a clash with Chinese forces in a disputed Himalayan border area. The LAC (Line of Actual Control) is poorly demarcated area and the presence of rivers, lakes and snowcaps means the line can shift on either side. The soldiers on either side - representing two of the world's largest armies - come face to face at many points. Therefore the map study of China is very important to understand the recent issue.
