Jal Shakti Ministry: Answer to Water Crisis?
- On 1st June, 2019, government created a new Ministry called Jal Shakti by merging erstwhile Ministries of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation and Drinking Water and Sanitation.
- To have one ministry will help in developing an integrated data management system in order to fix the water crisis looming across the country.
