- Prime Minister participated in the annual summit of G 20 ‘Heads of the Government’ held on 29 June 2019 at Osaka Prefecture, Osaka, Japan.
Highlights of the meeting
- Nineteen G-20 members apart from the US recommitted themselves to Paris climate deal.
- The US and China reached a rapprochement with the US declaring no further imposition of new tariffs on Chinese goods.
- In the bilateral discussions between India and Indonesia both the countries set an ambitious $50 billion target for bilateral trade over the next six years.
